Shipping , Tax, and Return Information:
Our web site GourmetParrot.com ships to US Addresses only at this time. We may use various carriers for shipping which may include UPS, FedEx and FedEx Smart Post, and United States Postal Service.
We offer Free Shipping on orders of $69 or more and a flat rate shipping charge of $9 on smaller orders to US Continental 48 states.
We offer flat rate shipping of $9 for orders 5 pounds or under to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rica, and outlying US Territories and Military Bases. Orders over 5 pounds are carrier calculated based on total weight of order.
Most orders ship within 3-6 business days after we receive your order and shipping transit time is 3-7 days after an order ships depending on your state and zip code. We may ship from warehouses in several states and as well as our main store in Alabama. If you order multiple items, your order may ship in more than one box and may ship from more than one location depending on the level of merchandise in stock at any given time.
Please note that UPS, FedEx, and the Postal Service are experiencing delivery delays due to their increased shipping demands as well as experiencing delays due to Covid. Please be patient and place your order as early as possible to prevent unexpected delays in items arriving. Please feel free to reach out to us any time you feel a concern about your order's arrival.
Orders for Alabama residents require us to a collect 4% tax that will be calculated at checkout.
We accept returns of unused and unopened items if received within 30 days of receipt. All returns must be approved and have an assigned RMA before the item is shipped back to us. All shipping fees for returned items are the responsibility of the customer. Once your return is approved we will email you a RMA return number to place on your package as well as the address you will need to return the item to.
If you receive a wrong item that was our mistake, or a damaged item that was damaged in shipping, please let us know within 3 days of receiving your order so that we can begin a correction for you. We will send you a prepaid return label for your package with return shipping paid by us if the item needs to be returned. You may be contacted by the shipping carrier who originally delivered your order as we will file a damage claim with the carrier.
If you accidentally order a wrong item and need to return it please let us know so we can approve and expect the return. We will promptly refund any money due you as soon as we receive the return in its original condition. We will issue the refund within 1 to 2 business days after receipt. Your bank or credit card usually takes from 4-7 days to issue the refund back to you. You may reorder the correct item at any time.
You should expect to receive your refund within approximately 10-14 days after giving your package to the return shipping carrier. This estimate is for approximately 5-10 days shipping time to arrive at our facility, 1-2 days for us to issue the refund, and 5-10 days for your bank or credit card company to issue the money back to your account.
If you do need to return an item, please contact us by email or by phone with your order number and the reason you would like to return an item before you return. We will respond quickly with instructions on how to return the item and issue a return authorization number so your return can be processed quickly when it arrives.
